I received an impassioned email plea supposedly from a Mr. Ram-Kisha Narayan from Kaltura in Sri Lanka saying that he had lost his wife, three children, house, and fishing boat as a result of the tsunami.

The email recognised the work of the normal aid agencies, and requested funds for the repair of fishing boats.
The money was to be sent to a Dutch Bank. The email was sent from Germany, through a notorious SPAM friendly ISP. The headers were faked.

Are there really no limits to how low these con men will stoop to try and rip people off?
